Drain Insurance Claim Handling
If you have a drainage issue that will be covered under your insurance policy (either personal or commercial) – we offer a free claim handling service where we liaise directly with your insurance provider.
Our team are happy to take over all the time-consuming and frustrating activities involved in making a claim, providing evidence and dealing with the insurance company – at no cost to you.
Because we manage insurance claims for hundreds of clients each year we understand the protocols and procedure and we work fast to get your claim paid. In addition, FC Drainage is authorised and regulated by the FCA, so you can be confident of our professionalism throughout the process.
How it works
If your drainage or sewage system is blocked or leaking simply call FC Drainage and request our Drain Unblock service. We will deal with your emergency quickly and also carry out a CCTV inspection to identify the underlaying issue.
Check your insurance policy. If your home or commercial premises are covered for accidental damage, FC Drainage can manage the claim for you and deal with your insurance. Call us if you have any questions about this.
If you would like us to manage to manage the claim for you, we need your authority to do so. This is part of the FCA regulations we are authorised under. All you need to do is download and print the authorisation form here.
We present the survey findings and our report, including the quotation, to you and to your insurance company. Then we manage the claim for you.
Your insurance company agrees the claim and authorises the work to be carried out. If you have an excess on your insurance policy, we ask you to pay this excess to us at this stage (because the insurer will pay us for the repairs minus this fee).
Our team then carry out the necessary repairs and all our work is covered by our guarantee.
